Hi, I'm Eric Schank.  This blog is a place for me to jot down and share thoughts on technology and things that we do to create the best products and solutions possible.

I have a wonderful wife, two great sons, and a lightning fast whippet named Cannon.

I've lived in Austin Texas since the turn of the millennium.  I love it here - the great weather, amazing views and outdoor activities, combined with easy access to (mostly great) music.

I like to say I've been coding since the 1800's (which may not be entirely true).  During that time I have had the pleasure to work for, work along side, and manage some truly amazing people, all of whom I have learned from.  

It's my hope that these posts will somehow help make your day better by providing a useful code snippet, explaining a design approach, exploring what makes a great product, or just making you laugh.
